 Sixth dev log for Pre Production

How was the presentation?

The presentation went really well, I got some amazing feed back on the bike and the opposite happened to what I thought would. People wanted more polys not less which is crazy to me but it makes a good point that it is better for a centre piece like this it have a higher poly count. Everyone also liked my new designs for the room and the city layouts. which is good.

What's been happening this week?

This week iv mostly just been working on improving the bike with an odd few sketches here and there to fill in some gaps of my work. 


This is the new updated bike that I have been working on over this week. The poly count has increased and more detail has been added like the front tire and lights. The back tire also got a revamp making it thicker and actually look like its connected to the bike rather then just hovering.  Adding more detail to bits around the bike and just giving it a better shape in general.

I then played with some colours to get the design I wanted correct without having to fiddle with textures and all that, just black materials with colour on them. it turned out exactly how i wanted it. i really do love how it turned out.
I also then decided to make a render of it because i was really proud of my work, the textures are pre generated in blender so they don't look very good. But over all the colours and the style is perfect for what I want.
I then designed some speakers to go either side of the TV that I want to make. These will bring the TV set all together along with making an AMP to go under the TV. These will be very simple to design in 3D ( I hope...) so it shouldn't take to long to do so.


Thoughts on progress

This week I haven't really worked to much on anything but the bike, and even that wasn't to much. I think I'm a little bit behind but I plan on making that up in the next week with a block out finalised. I think if I was to do the bike over again id like to not focus on the subdivide tool for my smooth edges. but other then that I'm super happy with how this has turned out.

What's next?

Next I plan on making at least one of the block outs for either the room or the city or both if possible and  do some more drawings of props.
