Seventh  dev log for Pre Production What's been happening this week? This week I have been working on a final block out for the room inertia getting that finalised and also doing some more drawings for items that will go inside of the room. This is the room block out to scale about how i want it. this allowed me to see there's things I need to do differently when it comes to making the actual room. When creating this block out I did it all on one shape/mesh so it took ages to make the shelves which is such a waste of time I could just make them and copy paste them around the room rather then making full new ones over and over. I have also done a lot of sketches to catch up before the Christmas break so I can have a little bit of a rest. These are sketches for NEON signs, Guns ,Shelf trinkets and a sink.  Sixth dev log for Pre Production How was the presentation? The presentation went really well, I got some amazing feed back on the bike and the opposite  happened to what I thought would. People wanted more polys not less which is crazy to me but it makes a good point that it is better for a centre   piece  like this it  have a higher  poly count. Everyone also liked my new designs for the room and the city layouts. which is good. What's been happening this week? This week iv mostly just been working on improving the bike with an odd few sketches here and there to fill in some gaps of my work.  This is the new updated bike that I have been working on over this week. The poly count has increased and more detail has been added like the front tire and lights. The back tire also got a revamp making it thicker and actually look like its connected to the bike rather then just hovering.  Adding more detail to bits around the bike and just ...

 Fifth dev log for Pre Production What's  been happening this week? This week I have been working on the the final concept for the room and city as well as finally modelling my first block out for the light cycle. These are the final designs for the layout of the room and the city. They are very simplistic and easy to understand. I improved on my last designed with having smooth edges and better proportions rather then just being a rough hand drawn scribble. These incorporate all the knew elements to each part. The city one might look bare but there isn't much I wanted to add otherwise it might get confusing have a tone of just boxes for the Neon signs and the vehicles and stuff so I just wanted to keep it simple and easy to understand. The room is perfect and exactly what I'm looking for, a mixture of new and fresh but with a hint of retro and old style.
