 Forth dev log for Pre Production What's  been going on this week? This week i have been working on a better room layout and and more exploration in the layout of the city. With some more defined concepts for the Light cycle. I looked at the original room set up and through what is wrong about it and tried improving on it to a point were this is somewhere id want to live. I removed the single counted and replaced the whole corner to be for the kitchen which I think looks better for breaking up the room. I shrunk the bed and the bath room to make space for some shelves and an extra door because my previous designs I forgot I wanted a place for the bike to live. I added a lot of shelving area so i can fill up the room and make it look fuller rather then being empty. I have then desired to do some more looks at what I can make the simple street into adding items to the roof and adding alleyways in the middle. I personally think the alleyways make it look more open and better over...

 Third dev log for Pre Production What's been going on this week? This week has been about expanding my idea further, getting a rough idea for the shape I wanted I decided to do a very rough block out of the city and the room itself. This is the city rough block out and you can see its not to scale in the slightest but the idea is there in visual form and can be very easily visualised as a final piece. The road feels a bit empty so perhaps adding some alleyways in the middle to open things up might be a good idea.  This is the room rough block out and you can see it docent look the best and isn't very well proportioned. This helped me understand that I needed to work on how the room would look because this was so bland and empty nothing really stood out and needed a redesign. All the proportions were just wrong and things didn't make since like why is the bathroom so big? why is there a closet in the kitchen? such a weird design. This will be redesigned next week.  Second Dev log for Pre Production How was the pitch? The pitch went really well, I was able to get some really good feed back on my ideas. Helping me get better ideas then the original ones I had. Originally I was going to do quite a boring alleyway but now i see that I could do a whole street lit up and vibrant. What a much better idea! Everyone seemed to really enjoy mu idea of a city landscape environment with a room that you can walk around in. What have I been working on this week? This week I have been doing some sketches to widen my idea and get a better understanding of what I want out of this. I have mostly been working on building layout and the room setup. With some props thrown in there as well as some designs for the light cycle I want inside of the room. These are all early sketches for the layout of everything but its generally what im wanting it to look like. This is my first dev log for Pre Production.  What am I working on? I will be designing and making a 3D environment in the style of Tron and cyberpunk combined. This allows for a great mix of ideas and designs but also being able to keep to the designs that people know and love about Tron and cyberpunk. There will be 2 Main scenes, A room and a City that can be viewed from the balcony of the room. Who am I? I am a 3D artist that works mainly on 3D character creation and clothing, I try to push myself to lean new skills and I learn new things every day. I want to make an environment to improve my hard surface modelling skills. I believe this is a great opportunity to do just that. What have I done this week? Today I started to set up my Trello bored with the necessary requirements I believe I need to complete my Pre Production.
